Cooling and hardware
Processors, coolers, fans, cases, and test platforms, with the temperature, noise, environment, and installation details needed to compare results.
ABOUT TK LAB
TK Lab is an independent technology lab in Taiwan, run by TK. It documents PC hardware, cooling, repairs, power, and the problems that only show up after real use.
Specifications are easy to find. What matters here is how a product behaves in the real world: temperature, noise, compatibility, failure modes, repairability, and whether it still makes sense after the launch window has passed.

WHAT GETS RECORDED
Processors, coolers, fans, cases, and test platforms, with the temperature, noise, environment, and installation details needed to compare results.
Symptoms, disassembly, parts, and unsuccessful attempts stay in the record—not only the polished result at the end.
Compatibility, durability, firmware problems, and small daily frustrations often take weeks or months to become visible.
Computers, peripherals, power hardware, and tools used for real work. Not everything needs a benchmark, but every conclusion needs a basis.
HOW THE WORK IS DONE
What can be measured is published with its setup and limits. What can only be observed through use is described as experience, not presented as laboratory data.
Platform, environment, settings, and known limits stay with the result.
Products are compared under the same conditions whenever the hardware allows it.
Retests, failures, and changed conclusions are added instead of quietly replacing the earlier record.

AFTER THE UNBOXING
A new product reveals very little on day one. Compatibility problems, noise, firmware changes, wear, and repairability often become clear only after weeks, seasons, or sustained load.
Reports may therefore gain retests, repair notes, failed attempts, or a conclusion that differs from the first impression.
INDEPENDENCE & DISCLOSURE
TK Lab may accept suitable review loans, sponsorships, and commercial work, but a commercial relationship does not purchase a verdict.
Review-unit sources, sponsorships, advertising, affiliate links, and other relationships that could affect judgment should be disclosed with the relevant work. TK Lab decides what to test, how to present the result, and what the conclusion says.
ABOUT TK
TK Lab grew from hands-on repair and hardware work into thermal testing, troubleshooting records, and long-term reviews.
It is not a product catalogue and does not rewrite every product announcement as news. The work here comes from equipment that TK has tested, repaired, taken apart, or continued to use.
If a report helps someone make a better decision before buying, repairing, or replacing a device, it is worth keeping.
